Keystone Millwork, Inc. is a manufacturer of architectural woodwork based in Bryan, Texas. As a part of the commercial construction industry, we create quality wood products for hospitals, schools, and other public and private buildings in the state. We frequently work on acclaimed architectural projects and are committed to producing the highest level of woodworking craftsmanship. Production Engineer
Production engineers' work directly influences the millwork manufacturing process; therefore, Keystone provides an initial shop training so the engineer can better understand the plants operation. A production engineer must be experienced with AutoCAD and templates and must be able to read and understand architectural drawings and their specifications. A high school diploma is the minimum education requirement for this position. Tasks include product design, preparing product drawings, maintaining an archive of drawings and documents, communications with contractors, and reviewing and editing in-house drawings. Working in both metric and Imperial dimensions will be required. Production engineers work in a new office environment with opportunities for advancement.

Shop Journeyman
Like the shop apprentice, the shop journeyman works with various woodworking tools and machinery in a clean, well-lit manufacturing shop. Experience in a woodworking shop is required, and a shop journeyman is expected to be able to read architectural drawings and assist in training entry-level employees. Those who exhibit leadership will be expected to supervise a team or department, and those interested in job advancement will find opportunity.

Shop Apprentice
Learn to work with wood and woodworking machinery in a clean, well-lit manufacturing shop with opportunities for job mobility. A shop apprentice position includes work with saws, edgebanding, assembly, and hardware, including use of a wide variety of woodworking tools, from hand-held tools like chisels to computer-operated machinery. No experience is required, but work with CNC machinery and/or previous woodworking experience are helpful. Training is provided for a wide variety of woodworking skills and tool function.

Project Manager
Project managers are responsible for the overall success of a project and are therefore expected to have experience in all facets of the business, including work in AutoCAD, relational databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and other manufacturing software. Most project managers have a college or technical degree. On a project, a project manager is responsible for job cost monitoring and reporting, job site and subcontractor coordination, negotiating job/project changes, creating production reports for manufacturing, and supervising draftsmen. Other basic responsibilities include product input, general contractor communications, and manufacturing engineering reports. Draftsman
An initial shop training will introduce the draftsman to the plants operation and millwork manufacturing, allowing him to better understand how his work influences production. A draftsman must be experienced with AutoCAD and templates and must be able to read and understand architectural drawings and their specifications. A high school diploma is the minimum education requirement for this position. Duties include product design, preparing product drawings, and maintaining an archive of drawings and documents. Draftsmen work part or full-time in a new office environment with opportunities for advancement.

CNC Machinist
A CNC Machinist primarily operates one of the five CNC machines in the Keystone shop, including the Busellato Nesting Router, the Mayer Beam Saw, and the WeekeMachiningCenter. A machinist must have some previous experience with CNC machinery, should be able to differentiate between various woodworking materials, and should know basic computer skills. Some training will be provided. Keystone provides a clean, well-lit manufacturing shop and ample opportunity for job advancement.
